The Irish and their ancestors have been making spectacular jewellery since 2000 B.C.

Irish metalsmiths have been crafting collars, torques and bangles in gold and silver since the Egyptians were building pyramids. The magnificent antique neckpiece shown here, the Gleninsheen Collar, was made circa 700 B.C. from a solid sheet of pure gold.

On the left we have links detailing the history and background of the various collections you can see on our website. Be sure to read these as when people comment on how beautiful your new piece of jewellery is, you can tell them all about the history of its design.
